Chess is a sport. Poker is a sport.

Just because it's not a physical activity doesn't mean it's not a sport. You still fail to give a legitimate reason why you don't think video games is not a sport.

I gave reasons. The most obvious reason is that you stare at a television or gaming device instead of getting out into the real world and involving some legitimate physical activity into it. I can see why this argument fails when it comes to chess but at least it's not using electronics and calling it sports.

Video games requires a lot of skill, just like it requires skills to pass a ball.

Darts, pool, poker, and even tennis at times are indoor sports.

Basketball, football, soccer games are always inside a stadium.

Sports that do require to be outside are golf, fishing, and racing, but I bet you don't even consider that a sport.
