No, didn't let you know because
A. It introduces bias and drama that we really, really don't want.
B. Most of you are kids, or at least act like it, and wouldn't know how to maturely handle it (see Kishys above post).
C. Although we don't use the site primarily for dating or some such BS, it's a way to communicate and be a part of an online community. We just didn't want mods to be confused and have go down that doesn't really need to go down.
