BlueBlur (2016-01-26 22:17:19)^Man of Steel was brilliant.

TheIronMadden (2016-01-26 22:31:17)^ Face it, Zack Snyder is a garbage film director when it comes to comic book adaptations. I may give Watchmen a slide since he did a decent job with that, but his other films are, or look like, total
You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.
BlueBlur (2016-01-26 23:17:16)I can't agree with that, like at all.

Crush42 (2016-01-26 23:43:54)Watchmen was Snyders masterpiece, and is easily in my top favourite movies list... somewhere (I really need to get around to updating/posting my top 100 someday...), but everything else he did, even Man Of Steel, has been bad, at the very best. Regardless, I was still excited for Dawn Of Justice. Even him directing and Ben Affleck as Batman couldn't change that. Then the first trailer came out, and I thought, 'Really?' Then the second trailer came out, and I almost wanted to cry, it was so painfully bad. So it will come and pass, it's going to make its money back, and, like Man Of Steel, it will have its fans, but ultimately, will be a bad movie. And I've accepted this. Deadpool, Suicide Squad and Doctor Strange will be more than enough to fill in the void of Batman and Superman this year.
Too Long; Did not Read! Snyder had one good movie to his name, and now he's doing a Batman V. Superman movie. God help us all.

BlueBlur (2016-01-26 23:49:06)You say that as if Ben Affleck isn't already the perfect Bruce Wayne.
And I honestly don't get it, what makes you so sure that BvS will be bad?

I have been really enjoying the Marvel movies lately, however when it comes to the superheroes themselves, Batman is my favourite so that makes DC my jam I suppose.
Perfect_Chaos (2016-01-27 01:07:58)Why'd you censor nigga? You're just as racist as Spencer, not even letting black people greet a [nigga, I said

Mercenary (2016-01-27 22:03:01)You niggers should read the comics. The movies are wack.

Bro
Crush42 (2016-01-27 22:16:30)Yes, the movies are different from the comics, but they're two completely different mediums. Things that work in comic books won't always work in movies, and vise-versa. As Christopher Nolan showed us with the Dark Knight Trilogy, you can strip a comic book hero of anything comic book, make several creative changes, and still create from what you have left, a legendary masterpiece.
But I also haven't read comic books in years because I'm rarely around a shoppe, and when I am, 32 pages just doesn't justify a $6-7 price tag. I miss the days when comics went for 25 cents to $1.25, or $2.50, if it was really big and special.

Mercenary (2016-01-27 22:21:05)They're $3-$6 an issue. They're rarely over $5, and a majority are $4.
Bro
Crush42 (2016-01-27 23:47:02)Not at the shoppes I've been to in the last few years.
...Which, admittedly, have only been Barnes And Noble, Hastings, Awesome Con and a shoppe in Maryland (Third Eye Comics, for anyone in the area), but still. I haven't seen a comic book for under $4 in a decade. Lucky you. Go forth, then, my friend, and read these relatively affordable pieces of work which I may never have the pleasure to see myself, and allow me to continue my existence, wallowing in self-pity until the day comes when I win the lottery, and can fully live my dreams...

Nemesis (2016-01-28 03:33:53)Yeah to be honest I haven't read any of the comic books. I've only watched movies.
Crush42 (2016-01-28 15:24:22)This whole censor/uncensor/recensor thing is extremely fun to watch. Be careful, tho, PC. It's like that song, 'I fought the mods, but the mods won.' Just don't get banned.

carlos12 (2016-01-28 17:41:08)@Crush42 i was just saying the bad video games
