The color you see in the image is definitely blue, not white.

I can see it as blue and black if I squint, but it's gold and white without it.

Wow, this went viral quickly.

I don't see how people do not see the dress as gold and white. I could probably see a little bit of blue, but no black.

I'll be checking in on this site from time to time. It's not as good as it used to be, but it wouldn't hurt to check in.

Okay guys. Yesterday when I saw this it was white and gold and when I looked at the same today, it was blue and black.

From the information I gathered, it's caused by an ocular phenomenon because of the photo being saturated with blue light.

Guys, if you're seeing white and gold import the photo into a photo editor and mess with the exposure to see the real version.

If you see it as white and gold, your eyes/brain is overexposing the image and are therefore more light sensitive.

People who see blue/black will have poor night vision and be (illogically) more prone to going snowblind in winter.

If you see w/g, you will squint more in bright sunlight and see increased contrast ratios, but will have great night vision.
