Seven to nine hours long?!
I'm not gonna front, but I used to go to Church that was at least 7-8 hours long. The service was at least six to seven. The rest was to clean everything up and stuff.

I think that they only believe in certain parts because God is supposed to be viewed as a source of love, that God loves everyone. And, as I said earlier, a lot of the stuff in the bible can't even be proved by scientists today, so with no actual proof people tend not to believe in that stuff. A good Christian is someone who treats others the way they wanted to be treated, the golden rule of the bible. God never said to harass ga.ys and make rules against their love for another person of the same sex.

Religion is stupid, but I must admire their way to believe and take their beliefs for some of them as far as they do.

But...nevertheless its moronic to say the universe and everything in it was created by "God", which is why I'm a science guy I believe that there cannot be ONE answer for everything.

2. I'm not at all religious, and my mom keeps taking me to church every Sunday. I'm not an atheist, either, I just don't care how the world started, when/if it ends, and where I would go if I do die. I really hate the people in my "religion" though, because they're always:

-Praising "God" for everything good
-Blames "Satan" for everything bad
-Always wonders "is this God or Satan offering me this job that pays $25 an hour... it must be Satan!!! I guess I'll stick to my $2 an hour job!!! "
-Always "sucking up" to "God". Like "*looks up to the roof* OMG GOD!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS OMG OMG OMFG!!! I GOTTA MAKE A SONG THAT JUST REPEATS "YOU WILL COMW TO ME" OMGGGGGGGGG!!! I WILL COME TO YOU GOD YES COME TO YOU AS SOON AS YOU GET BACK ALL THESE SINFUL BASTARDS WILL DIE BECAUSE THEY DON'T BELIEVE YOU OMG!!!", I think you're calling your roof "God", and not wherever he is. Which makes me think about two things: One, who said God was directly above, or above in general? He can be to the sides, or even below you. If I dug down into the earth, I wouldn't see hell, I would see the core. If I rocketed up in outer space, I wouldn't see heaven. So technically, "God" isn't above, only above all things (as the bible says it), and Satan isn't below us, he's only a fallen angel (according to the bible). Two, people want a sexual relationship with "God"

I respect all religions, but this is my opinion.
