People should smoke and drink because they want to smoke and drink. Not for other reasons or because something or someone "made them" do it. Also, society has conditioned you people into thinking that consuming alcohol makes you automatic Satan spawn. Yeah, it's pretty stupid if you drink for the reasons OP does, but drinking in general isn't immoral. And if done occasionally without binge habits it can go without consequence.

As for smoking, it usually comes with consequence but it depends on what, why and how you choose to present yourself smoking. Ergo, smoking because of peer and emotional pressure is wrong, but to an extent, smoking because you want to and you can isn't.

Wine and some beers actually have health benefits when consumed responsibly. I've had a diluted glass of wine once, and another time I finished off a beer that was mostly used to cook with...both times had parental supervision so yes, it was legal (where I live). I've never smoked and have no desire to.

There are no health benefits, but alcohol consumption and smoking whatever is not half as detrimental to one's health as you, the typical 5 year old posting in this thread, would think.
Nor is it some taboo, for that matter. You cannot go and shake your head every time someone says they smoke or drink because we've come a long way from an age of intolerance. This is the 21st century. In the near future, we'll likely see the unprecedented ban on marijuana being lifted.

I have never done any of these things, nor do I ever intend to, but it pisses me off to no extent to see a bunch of punk ass kids going around thinking they know better.

It does kind of annoy me when kids go around saying smoking marijuana is good for you. Inhaling the smoke of anything is bad for your lungs, doesn't matter what you're smoking. Also, I highly doubt that the marijuana they smoke is A grade medical marijuana.

We're saying that illegal weed is laced with chemicals designed to have an addictive effect, since the natural stuff found in nature (real marijuana) isn't addictive. This is obviously a measure adopted to help sales because vendors cannot afford to lose a customer and must be able to sell all of their stuff, or else.
If this stuff were legal, there would be no need to do this.
