Some people just aren't meant for this kind of thing.

In regards Ben, I have seen him do things since he was promoted. I don't like to see people using the "he doesn't do anything/not active" excuse, especially when we're only talking about a week. Were you all expecting posts across all boards and evidence of moderation?

^ "who go crazy" *cough*NutsyandCorban*cough*

I have not seen Tetris on the forums for the past (I don't know) 3-4 weeks maybe. *looks at every single forum to make sure*

Moderators are promoted to moderate, not to socialize. As long as Ben lurks and takes action when someone does breaks a rule, he shouldn't be required to meet a "social activity" quota.
Lani (2014-09-18 14:58:00)
If there's evidence of his moderation in the forums, then there's evidence that he's actively looking at them.

Many people often lurk the forums because they enjoy reading them, even if they don't want to contribute to the discussion. Though, none of us can say on Ben's behalf that he does or doesn't enjoy the forums; because none of us know, but Ben himself.

All I'm saying is that he shouldn't be demoted just because he's not actively posting general replies in forums...Time will tell if he actually does actively moderate.

Ben, like me, Ocassionally disappears for a couple of days because he has stuff to do in real life. He doesn't have to be here every single day to prove he exists. Even if he is inactive, why is that even a reason to demote him? What does how often je comments or closes/deletes a thread have to do with how good he is at doing so? So far, nobody has given me a legit answer for this question.

Edit: to the OP of this thread, if you're going to call someone out, do it right and be specific. Don't criticize the mods if you aren't going to give examples.

Lots of mods get demoted for being inactive because of life.

Not saying Tetris should be demoted. ( Unless he's in the chats more often, and has not been moderating on the forums since, then there's a reason )

I've seen him make a few posts in other forums.

He's closed one or two threads.

I guess that isn't much, but he probably stalks more.

In my opinion, a mod should be on at least once or twice a week. Because it's not like he/she is doing any harm by not being here. De-modding would just make things worse.

I will not point fingers at any mods. Because they barely have any expectations placed upon them. But one who is told countless times that he/she is disliked, should change his/her attitude, regardless of position.

RadiantBlast is a decent mod. Active, smart, hilarious, etc. Although I disagree with him on one thing; If you do not believe you are doing something wrong, that doesent make it right.
A child rapist may not believe child rape is a bad thing. But that does not make it any less child rape.

Sackthing101 is a decent mod, but deserves no more than mod, due to his bias and arrogence. He told everyone that fluxercry said he didn't listen to the community, and that the reason he was leaving his position is because of her. I proceeded to insult him. Then he arbitrarily decides that my insult was the third insult I made, so he bans me. That is not a good CM make.

Other than those qualities, he is a fabulous moderator.

Most of you should know what mods I dislike. So I won't name them for the sake of maturity.

I'm an open book, there are few questions I won't answer honestly, no matter how embarrassing.
AntiChrist (2014-09-19 11:13:38)
SackThing101 does that? He seems like a good guy to me. Did you see him doing thise things you mentioned yourself, or did you just see someone talking about it?
Leviathan (2014-09-19 16:22:38)
I saw it myself. Mainly because it was in discussion of the Bellamy crisis, and I happen to be the person he banned for breaking the rules only once.

Why is there still confusion regarding FluxerCry's gender?

"Although I disagree with him on one thing; If you do not believe you are doing something wrong, that doesent make it right."

I agree with you completely on this, but exactly how is one supposed to address whatever they're doing wrong, if they don't know that it's wrong, and no one tells them that it's wrong?

Also, FluxerCry is a male, and I'm a female..

I know Carter is male, and you're....what?

I was assuming you had bden told you were doing something wrong, and you were ignoring it. Such as Bellamy does, which instigated the Bellamy crisis. You're comepletely justified in this situation, Radiant. DESPITE THE FACT THAT YOU LOCKED MY PRECIOUS CREEPYPASTA.

We keep telling her what and when she does wrong. The problem lies in that she believes she is right, thus justifying her own actions.
