Was it necessary to unsticky the brony thread?

Btw, I unstickied the Borny thread.

Problem?

Still, not a dumbass. I know that. Unless you were talking to everyone else.

I wasn't aware that there was a Borny thread.

Yeah, you make me very borny. All the time.

That's very nice of you to say, Carlos.

Dumba-

On second thought, the explanation is worth my time.

I'd like to start by saying that over the past couple weeks, there have been invisible rules thrown about. More specifically, the Brony Thread and stickying.
For some reason, people seem to think the Brony Thread has some unique purpose. (Other than uniting fans of a fanbase, that is.) That is false. There are those who claim the Brony Thread is supposed to confine pony material, that its existence symbolizes the prohibition of the creation of pony threads elsewhere. That is false. No such rule exists on this website and it should not be enforced. Likewise, there is the matter of the supoosed significance of the Brony Thread's former sticky status.
It was stickied before so there wouldn't be more pony threads, but it's unstickied now so I can make pony threads. False.
You could always make pony threads. In fact, there were a couple pony threads that I recall being created, and not closed.
They remained open not because "I don't want to be accused of false-lock. Oh well" but because they were perfectly fine, in the sense that they didn't violate any rules.

Lastly, I'd like to point out that this began when stupid Spencer started bitсhing about 2mny stickeh threds. That, combined with Carter's homophobia hate for Yaoi led to the unstickying of everything but the Chat Thread and the Brony Thread. I unstickied the Brony Thread, brought back the Bump thread because swag, and here we are. I can't understand why it would feel "cleaner" now that we have fewer stickied threads. That is such a nonsensical remark I can't even begin to imagine what could have possibly possessed you to believe that and start this whole mess. I'm just going to remind you that when a thread disappears from the first page, it goes to THE SECOND PAGE, not oblivion. If you make ONE extra click, you'll get to it. I shouldn't have to remind you, but I guess I do.

I never said I want them stickied. It doesn't bother me at all. I hate Yaoi, I'm not a brony, and I don't watch wrestling.

I'm the one taking this lightly. You guys are just completely fixed on the idea that stickying is bad. To me, it doesn't make a difference and you're making arbitrary decisions.

I'm representing.

Representing a side of the argument no one is acknowledging which makes just as much sense , if not more, than yours.

I'm also arguing just to argue.
