I had a friend who identified as a male. I felt really bad for him. I even agreed to refer to him as "him" and "he" out of respect. I'm pretty sure that person has already had sex change by now, but if he didn't, I feel extremely sorry for him. You have no idea how depressed he looked all the time. He hated being a female.

The girl turned into a guy
They fall in love and be together

It's really a confusing way to say they're gey.

I understand why people do it, but at the same time, I find it to be perverted (twisted and wrong, BTW). I feel like people are basically giving God the finger. There's a reason you were born the way you were, and if you just give up like that, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to congratulate and support that kind of lifestyle. I could go on about this all day, but I believe I've made my point. Whether or not you see it is entirely up to you. :l

Do you REALLY think people do it as any kind of personal attack to god? That's just rediculas. I doupt god has a problem with sex change anyway. God isn't an excuse to have people depressed their whole lives because thy identify as the opposite gender.

Okay, taking God out of it, I don't believe that being unsatisfied with yourself to a point where you unnaturally deform your body to look like something else is a healthy lifestyle. Really, it's sad in my opinion, that someone feels so miserable about themselves to do that kind of thing. :l

Don't be such a cry-baby. I just stated a news headline. Nothing to be offended.

I just think transgender people is like deciding to commit suicide.

When people commit suicide, they give up their life.

Same as transgender person. They give up being their real gender. The obvious difference is that they don't die, (They can die during transfer process, but a very small chance) and live on as the opposite gender.

I think it's creepy and weak as a suicidal person. (Maybe stronger than them, but you get my point.)

Nobody is giving up by being transgendered. If anything, they are SOLVING their problem. You'll never undestand people who identify as the opposite gender because you've never been put through their pain. Imagine suddenly becomming a girl and unable to turn back. Would that make you automatically identify as a female? Pfft. No.

That's how they feel. There's no reason to compare it to suicide and it is extremely cruel to call it "weak". Identifying as a certain gender is not "weak". It's how your brain was wired. You can't choose to feel like you should be the gender you are, because that's not how it works. It's exactly like how you can't chose to be strait or gay, or how you can't choose to stop being a Christian or atheist just because other people want you to. Put yourself in their shoes.
