Let the record show that Hey Arnold! was pretty damn awful.

No it wasn't. It was good. The movie was also good.

And sht like the modern spongebob episode, "One Coarse Meal" gets past the censors
It's not that they are portraying suicide, that's not bad
JOKING ABOUT IT IS BAD
I swear, nowadays we would probably be able to air The Gregory Horror Show on say, Nickelodeon, and no parent would give a fuff

A long, long time ago, kids around 13 or 14 would already be married.

It's pretty much the parents' fault for how their kids behave. They shouldn't let the media raise them. They should guide them; tell them what's right and wrong while still giving their child freedom. Remember the last "good" generation that everyone's talking about? Yeah, they raised US. They brought us this new generation.

"Kids entering puberty early"
Eh, nothing we can really do about that. Too many growth hormones in the food.

"Allow some cussing in cartoons nowaday"
Anything but. If the word "hell" was put into a movie, the soccer moms would go crazy. In older movies kids were swearing and no one cared.

"Kids doing drugs"
They had candy cigarettes in the last generation. All the little boys wanted to be like their dad. They wanted to smoke. They'd give the kids a candy cigarette without hesitation. Nowadays, when a little kid sees someone smoking they get all crazy.

People say things about every generation. Get over it.

Well, that was only because the normal life expectancy was forty years old

^Nice job, Meia.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Our parent's generation screwed (more like, "f'd up" ) up the economy, now look where we are. Plus, we were raised by them.

Hating on the "new" generation only makes you appear to be more of an imbecile than you actually are.

I wish you all would stop focusing on the negative.. Here's some positive stuff.

Technology continues to get better as time goes on.

New scientific discoveries and medical breakthroughs

There are still tons of good cartoons out now. (Regular Show, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Wonder Over Yonder, etc.)

Tons of kids NOT dong drugs

Tons of kids that are NOT parents

Everything you guys have been pointing out has always been happening, it just changes form as time progresses.

@Nin10dude You know kids have no control over when puberty happens, right?

Yeah, the glass may be half full\half empty, but what is the liquid in the glass anyway? Is it even a liquid?

@BlueBlur
Yeah, I know.

But the thing is though about entering puberty at early part of life is really threatening.

I actually saw a 5th grader already showing her boobs. Nothing wrong of her entering puberty that early, but the way she dresses up? It's not normal for a 5th grader.

Get with the times, prude.

That, or go back to the 1800s.

Well, there are some really good things about modern times, and some really bad things.

@Nin10dude
What does that have to do with the majority of the population?
It's not like every kid is dressed like that. Look at the clothes companies.
They're over-sexualizing kid's clothing.

Still, that's only one 5th grader.

K15- You will have none of that. It's the 1800s, just the way you like it.
