It's not really shut down. Congress is still getting paid, military is still up, so is FBI, CIA, FDA, etc. Only thing notable is that all the national parks/monuments are shut down.

Of course, on a site full of 12 year olds, I expected ignorant comments like "America sucks" and "Congress is stupid."

Did it occur to you that these people are much older and wiser than any of you? We should think for ourselves yes, and not just roll over for the government, but most of you aren't even in High School and probably don't know jack squat about history and politics.

@VoidEnigma-Nice stab at Republicans, as if it is 100% their fault. You realize both sides won't compromise, right? And let's be honest, Obamacare is horrible and is also a confusing mess. No one can made heads or tails of half the stuff that's in there.

@Man-What you fail to understand is that Obamacare costs money. Business are required to cover the cost for all employees, and a lot can't afford it. So to afford it they would have to lay off employees so they don't have to cover them. So yeah...you'd get "free" Healthcare but there would be a lot less jobs...plus it's not really free as the American tax payer is funding it.
