Time is an interesting subject. Time does have no end, but time itself is not linear, therefore the concept of 'Time Chain' and 'Time line' is invalid.

What's interesting is that the past, present and future are theorized to be occuring simultaneously. Due to this, it follows the logical conclusion that we cannot travel to the past as there is nothing to travel back to.

Again, time travel is an interesting subject.

From a technical standpoint, it is impossible to travel backwards in time as it defies the laws of physics. From that same standpoint, it is perfectly possible to travel into the future, therefore.

Travel to the past -Not possible

Travel to the future -Possible

Travel to the present from the past -possible

Travel to the present from the future -impossible.

That then brings us the concept of time being orderly by functioning in a straight line. This has been proven wrong, instead being replaced by the Multiple Worlds Theory. According to said theory, the past present and future occur simultaneously in their own universe, and every choice made be it something small (Like choosing to wake up on the left side of the bed) to something large (Axis powers won WWII) creates it's own universe following through on said action and it's effects.

In other words, alternative timelines are created constantly, and each one creates it's own reality/universe which then creates more realities as more possible divergent paths are created.
