I think you have to have things like Lagiacrus Mantles or something, and 5 PureCrystals(Those are hard to find). Helios isn't as good as everyone says it to be, but if you think it's worth it, give it a try. @Vexation

Look at the required items list beside the options of DB(Dual Blades) and farm random places for the items. In order to get new weapons to forge, complete key quests and urgents, move up in your rank and you will eventually get new things to forge. Progression and Time will solve your "problem". I've got nothing good to put here.

For Alatreon- I made him stay on the ground with Edles Ice. He's really weak to ice when hes on the ground. But I also had some dragon proof gear so I didn't loose my element.

RinFujimaru (2013-09-28 13:54:59) Crafted Rath Soul(Azure Rathalos) armor, made a few gunlances, and about to start Bowguns(Any tips?). I'm currently deciding on getting the Bird Wyvern trio's armors(G. Baggi, G. Wroggi, G. Jaggi). By the way, I got 2 S. Zinogre Skymeralds in 1 quest.

SackThing101 (2013-09-29 05:27:47)I just got the game 14 days ago and it's quite fun.
I'm on the 4-star urgent quest now (Lagiacrus). Of course, before I battle it, I would need better armor (Barroth instead if Chainmail) and a fire weapon (Qurupeco hammer) I'm missing two Qurupeco feathers.
And how do you get killer beetles? I've been trying to find them to make a Barroth chesplate.
P.S: My favorite weapons are long swords, switch axes, hammers, heavy bowgun (maybe).
I hate fast weapons as you can tell.
