Making a Tulpa is about taking a part of your subconscious and feeding it energy and the such unti: it becomes sentient. It's much about telling it what it is like, and about repetition, and spending a lot of time working at all the aspects of it.
Think of it as building an entirely separate person out of nothing. You wouldn't just be able to just read a story about what they were about and then they would suddenly start acting completely on their own, you would have to give them personality, which would take a lot of time.
Not a bad idea though, I just don't think it would work. ]
