DeathKid (2012-12-04 03:32:41)I can't have been the only one that noticed how similar the Alicorn Amulet looked to the Elements of Harmony. So, here's the theory. There was once a seventh Element- Power. (Or Might, or something like that.) But, the seventh Element is what caused Luna to turn into Nightmare Moon, and always made ponies crazy with power when they used it. So, Celestia disconnected the seventh Elment from the others, and gave it to a family of merchant ponies to protect. So over a thousand years it passed down through the family, and became known as the Alicorn Amulet. But over time, the tale of what truly happened became lost, and the family didn't really know why they were protecting it. And that's why the one pony was so quick to sell it off to Trixie.
