Suck it up. Instead of an apartment, you should be worried about graduating high school at the proper time. Unless you're highly accelerated in your courses and will have received all of your necessary credits by the time you're 16, I recommend you just keep doing your schoolwork. It seems to me as though the thought of education or a career after school hasn't even crossed your mind. Get your act together and stop complaining.
Lani (2015-07-31 21:38:49)You have to be 18 for a checking account, a full-time job, to apply for credit cards, and to sign contracts (this would mean you can't legally buy or rent a house/apartment)...these are all pretty much necessities for surviving on your own.
Also, you can't legally leave home without your parent's permission until you're 18.
So stay in school, study, and trust me it's worth making it up with your parents. No one can ever replace your biological family, so if it's not threatening to your health or anything, don't burn bridges...You can make it through, just try to be a little more selfless and forgiving. Even once you're 18 and you move out, hopefully you can still have your family at an arm's reach for anything life might throw at you.
I know it seems difficult, but once you put your differences behind you and love your family for who they are, it's a whole lot easier to get along.

when i graduate high school, imma be 16. and i dislike my parents very much (no offence Meredyth and Dwayne!) but i wanna move out right as soon as i graduate high school. so the main question is... how old do you have to be when you rent an apartment?
