What is the situation here?
Why was he unable to see you before?
Do you have someone else that you consider your father?
(Don't listen to Megabeanish, he's in that bratty teenage stage in life)
You don't need to say you love him, just get to know him.
He's saying he loves you because one as a parent loves that seed he made and wants to see it blossom into a flower. You don't need to be rude.
Being rude to someone because they did something to you doesn't make you any better than them. Show you're respectful so he can see the wonderful you he has missed all this time.
