I'm doing this because of some personal experiences.


So, are you good at something? Good enough to get attention for it I hope.

Anyways I was wondering if anyone else experiences the occasional "That's so cool" or "You're really good at that!". It's nice and I would like to hear it.


In 10th grade I would write or draw on the whiteboard to pass my time on a free-day or fridays(We got out early on friday). If you know me you know I draw with almost all of my freetime ever when I'm not playing a game or doing something important. So my Trigonometry teacher felt the need to get multiple small whiteboards, let me draw on them and then case them up for decorations. I got alot of compliments throughout the rest of that year atleast.


Another time was just last year at the beach. I was just drawing on one of the seaside benches(Never sit on those, they're as uncomfortable as they look). I decided to draw in my notepad for a bit but after a while I joined my little sister in the water because she asked me to. When I got back there was a small family who had set up near that bench and one of the kids was showing all my drawings to his mother and brother, when I went to get it back they all said they were really something, and I should look into a career or something.

Now, just recently today I was drawing at a freinds place on my 3DS on colors 3D. Needless to say he liked them and got us some pizza, blah-blah, Sm4sh, Blah-blah. Eat, Blah-blah, girls


Anyway that's what it usually is for me, I don't even consider myself all that great at drawing, but I geuss others do.

Flattering days died. People just won't let me stand out when I'm good at something. Even when I'm obviously better and noticed by outsiders, the people in charge of rewards skip over me.

I've lost faith in our band.

Whenever I yo-yo in public random people always say "wow, that's so cool" or "how do you do that?" I guess that's kinda why I do it because people think it's cool. I also get a lot of compliments on my shoes because I have galaxy print Vans which are pretty cool. Also, a lot of people ask me how I mantain good grades when I sleep in class every day and barely do any of the homework. I don't really know either.

Actually, I only get praise when I do something physical because people think I'm weak because my shoulders aren't too broad. I'm just as strong, if not stronger than the average person my age.
