But I read on this puberty book that you're suppose to put socks on first cause while you put on your underwear you might have athlete's foot or some infection and then you might infect your genitals.

My feet don't stink at all, tbh. Neither do they sweat, but that's probably because I wear really airy shoes.

Socks are just a no for me.
