carlos11 (2015-01-02 01:52:36)I don't think there's any way to prove this is a story without reading it.

BirdJesus (2015-01-02 01:57:43)6/10. The ending was disappointing.

You assholes need to get the hell over yorselves and either read the whole thing or not comment at all. I am DISGUSTED with your lack of empathy. Yes, I am pissed at most of you. I'm not saying I think you are terrible people now, but this is just intolerable.
Maybe you don't realize how much pain this person is in or what he just went through because you didn't read this whole thing, and if that's the case, I understand and I guess you didn't do anything wrong, but using this to crack your stupid little jokes again? No. That is completely uncalled for! Anyone with this kind of sociopathic behavior needs serious help. I know this sounds hypocritical coming from me because of my past actions on my old account, but this is just disgusting.
Do you think it would still he funny if this happened to you? Would you still be the tough edgy grown up you think you are? I am not sorry for my attitude in this comment.
Like I said, if you didn't read any of this and don't know how harsh you are being, I understand that and you probably didn't do anything wrong.

I'm an open book, there are few questions I won't answer honestly, no matter how embarrassing.
Levi, Are you alright? I'm sure most of us here will try to support you

It is 2:18 A.M, January 1st, 2015. I feel like this will give me some sort of closure to write this in the middle of the night. Not sure why. Two days ago, I logged on to a website known as 3dsplaza.com. I lie on my bed and check the private messages I have received over the few hours since I last logged on. Upon checking these messages, I noticed a shimmering on the screen. I began to look closer, but soon realized that the shimmering was not on the screen, but in my eyes. It spread throughout my eyesight, until I was unable to see, except through a small hole as it would seem through my right eye. As you can imagine, this was very frightening for me, as I have never experienced this before. I have always remained as independent of my parents as possible, and only used their help as a last resort if anything got too serious for me to handle on my own. Being as it may that I couldn't see, I could not use a search engine to search for a probable cause of the effects I was feeling. I could see a small amount, but it was barely enough to read at a quarter of my usual rate. I went to the chat rooms at 3dsplaza.com, and decided to seek the help of my companions there. At this time, I was beginning to experience delusions of some sort. I was reading wrong, typing wrong, and speaking wrong. I could barely read what they were saying, but only because they were using small words that required minimal brain capacity to understand. I asked for help. I asked a girl to search the Internet for possible symptoms related to mine. I got the feeling that she believed I was joking, but still, I reassured her multiple times of the seriousness of the matter. The last thing she said was, "It's simple. You die." before leaving the chat room. At this time, I attempted to curse to get the attention of anybody willing to listen. I attempted to say the "F" word, but accidentally misspelled it. This led to a typo that when spoken aloud, sounds similar to the word I was attempting to say. This bypassed their cursing censor, which was against their rules. This was an accident, but was allowed no time to explain before I was relieved of my ability to speak on the website for two days. I attempted to contact a friend of mine via a communication system, and asked her to go into the chat room I was in, and ask another girl to come to a different website, so that I may converse with her for a short time. My political-minded habits led me to explain my case of why I shouldn't be disallowed the ability to speak, before remembering that I can barely see, and there are more pressing matters to attend to. At this point, my left leg went numb, and my left little finger went numb as well. I had no idea what was happening to me, and promptly asked the girl to search the Internet for some information on it. I told her I couldn't see, so I had no way of doing it myself. She replied with, "Well good luck with that." and the promptly left. She was my last chance at getting independent help. I tried to get back up, and fell back down again. My entire left leg, left torso, left cheek, and left arm were numb, as well as my lips, tongue and a section of my throat. I began to wonder if this would persist, and I would be prohibited from breathing. I attempted as best as I could to get my leg to regain feeling, and moved the numb parts until they regained half their strength. I limped into my living room, sat on my couch, and explained the symptoms to my mother. She got up, opened my fathers door, and said, "I am taking Lucas to the hospital. He has a migraine." then she closed the door and put her coat on. She ordered me to get a bottled water from the fridge, and my brother to look after our baby sister while we were away. A migraine? A migraine is a horrible headache. My head wasn't hurting, I thought. Why would she be taking me to the hospital if I was having a migraine? Those go away in a few hours anyway, despite the horrible pain that comes with it, I thought more. I asked my mother for her reasoning behind the venture to the hospital. She explained that my symptoms are symptoms of a migraine, which is a horrible headache, sometimes included with numbing, loss of vision, loss of balance, incoherent speech, and the inability to understand others correctly. But migraines were extremely rare in young subjects, and these symptoms were signs of a stroke. A stroke would result in the continued loss of understanding, incoherent speech, numbness that persists until the end of time, and death. This began to worry me. Upon arriving at the hospital, I began to feel nauseated. I could barely stand up, and I couldn't speak right. The doctor asked me what the problem was, and my mother stopped me because I was speaking correctly. I would say the wrong word, then stop for a few seconds, then stutter, and attempt to say the right word, then smile at my mother. I was taken to a room, and I lie on the hospital bed, just before sitting back up, grabbing hold of the nearest rash bin, and vomiting profusely for the next ten minutes, and laying back down on the bed. A nurse(Or doctor? I was too delusional to notice.) came into the room, holding a few packets, and a few needles. I looked at my mother, and she urged me to keep calm, as I asked twice if there was any other way for me to receive the medicine other than a needle. He denied this, and went about his business. "You can curse, scream, yell, whatever you want. Just don't move." the nurse began to administer the IV, and I began to cry uncontrollably, due to my extreme fear of needles. I balled my hands into fists as hard as I possibly could, despite the suggestion to relax. I couldn't relax. All I thought about was the foreign object in my arm, pumping foreign fluids into my bloodstream. I could feel the cold fluids tainting my warm blood, and spreading as it was carried farther down my bloodstream. I fell asleep(Or passed out?) and woke up a moment later, still in the hospital room. I was freezing cold, and asked the nurse for another blanket upon his return. He retrieved it as I so requested, and then I fell asleep once more. I was delusional, and believed it to be embarrassing for my mother to see me sleep. So if my mother would wake me up, or say something to me, I would assure her that I was definitely not asleep. Despite the fact that I was. We finally were let out of the hospital after about three hours of me laying there with a foreign object burrowed into my skin. Just before releasing me, the doctor explained that they did not believe this to be a migraine. They apparently were unaware of what it was. After being released, we ate, went home, and I went to bed.
There is a reason I am writing this. I do not yearn to tell you a tale of my wondrous adventures to the hospital, or regale you with a story of me crying my eyes out for one and a half minutes while they pumped medicine into me. I am here to share the revelation I have had.
I have recently watched an episode of a television series in Japanese animation styling by the name of Sword Art Online. In this episode, a young girl dies of AIDS at the age of fifteen. The same age as I.
Now, this is a work of fiction, I grant you. But think for a moment. What if it wasn't? What if I were to die tomorrow? Or be told I have three months to live? It would fly by, and I would be on my death bed before I had a chance to blink. I thought to myself, It's not that simple. But that is the unpleasantry. It is that simple. It happens everywhere, every day and we choose to ignore it. Death is just around the corridor for every one of us, and we manage to elude it's grasp to daintily with every minute we live. A man could break your door down right now, and slaughter your entire family, you included. What would happen? What would you do? Would you be ready? Would you be afraid? Of course you would. You are afraid of the unknown. No, not the unknown. The unknowable. Something you can not hope to understand until it's too late to live your life better than you did. But this made me realize, that nobody will be there to help you. Not even the ones you thought would. You'll be utterly alone in your time of need. Quite sad if you think about it. So I've made a conscious decision. I realize now that I made this decision subconsciously many years ago, but now I am aware of it. I am going to create everything I can, in as short amount of time possible, until it can thrive without me, and I can die satisfied, knowing that my creation will continue to serve it's purpose, even after my death.
This is a letter to Rose.
