Okay, So I told a user, named ShadesOfPale (Who looks TOTALLY fake.) To write "Lucas' girl" on a piece of paper. I told her it was to make my girlfriend jealous. But it was really to see if she was fake. And so, she uploaded it. This is what she gave me:

So as you can see, it's clearly fake. So I gave her a chance to admit that it was fake. She insisted that it was her handwriting, and not fake. So I asked her for skype. She avoided the question.

I sharpened the image, and used a color dropper to give more contrast between the two, along with the color codes.



As you can see, she painted over the original writing on the paper with a #FFFCB brush, whereas the paper is actually #E5E5E3.

Not only that, but the writing is absolutely perfect.

I edited everything but the writing out of the picture, and rotated the text, and was left with this:



I uploaded that to a website called What Font Is. It helps you find a font in a picture. It can be found from; www.whatfontis.com.



I left the radial check box unaltered, as the background was lighter than the text I was detecting.

I clicked continue, and was met with this screen.



This screen is the screen where you input the letter for each character. It auto-detects the characters, so all you have to do is input which letter it is in the text box beside each image.

So I filled the text boxes out, and was met with this: (Capitalization matters!)



But if you will notice, It thought that the Dot in the I, and the line, were two separate characters. So I scrolled down, and I saw this:



So I held the left mouse button, and dragged the cursor over both the images, turning them both red.




Then I pressed Ctrl+alt+C, and the two pictures were merged.



Then I scrolled down, and clicked the continue button.



The next screen I saw was this:



I then scrolled down, until I found the font she used in her picture:



Then I clicked on the download link, downloaded it, and sent her this picture:





There you go! A number of crappy photoshop fakes can be found using this method. More specifically, those involving fake writing.

And almost all of them aren't linked to valid images.

Also, it's immediately obvious that the supplied image is fake. Why would you go in depth of every error in the image just to spite a user?

Because certain devices have higher brightness. Look at the first image, and tilt your screen down until it looks like it's not photoshopped.

It's still extremely obvious. The text is clearly fake; the color of it is completely solid.

I think part of the reason he added such a lengthy amount of analyzation was just to strengthen his case against the convicted user; since she continued to insist that it really is her in the picture.
