You people need to categorize the "rock" you listen to, because a lot of the times it just turns out that you listen to new alternative crap. The only "newish" rock bands worth mentioning in my opinion are Radiohead, The Black Keys, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Avenged Sevenfold, and Modest Mouse. (Excluding metal because I differentiate metal from rock.)

I really only listen to music at school. It's all Megaman and Vocaloid.

There are different types of rock. That's like saying electropop, trance, synth, techno, glitchstep, dubstep, etc. all fall under the "electric" category.

I know this is the most vanilla answer ever, but I thoroughly enjoy all music genres...it just depends on the specific songs. I typically listen to rock (keeping it general because I listen to all categories of rock all the time) or classical...anything purely instrumental I nearly always enjoy. I tend to dislike songs from the 80's the most, but again there are some 80's songs that I really like...So, it's easy enough to honestly say that I like all genres.
