I'm going to give my two cents in this.

I think people need to stop trying to find out if all the shooters had problems with their families or were "influenced" through violent videogames. Obviously, one of the most ignored things in our society today is that high school kids are just plain stupid ( the majority of them is what I mean ) and they want to shoot their teachers because they are IRRATIONAL.

Sure, I find it odd that the teacher fled te school the minute he or she found out that he was looking for him or her, but kids these days have been way to quick to hate their teachers.

Don't like the teachers tone as she tells you to be quiet during an important test even though she has full athority? That's ok because in the society we live in, almost nobody will judge you if you decide to hate that teacher with a passion that very second.

Scene kids are another example of children whose problems are looked at as actually serious and not their fault. Adults today believe every single kid that decides to jump on the "I think I have depression bandwagon ".

All the crap they post on social media about how they "harm themselves", in my opinoin, is almost always the same and 100% utter bullcrap.

People, please don't go victimizing yourself or the kinds of people who would shoot their teachers and other kids.

Also, if you hear about the female victim who was injured seriously, don't automatically believe the stories about her "confronting" the shooter.

She may have simply been there at the wrong place and the wrong time.

That is all.

This is why I never play Rated M games.

Besides, some adults nowadays are... no.

I think this could happen anywhere, considering the way most teenagers victimize themselves these days. I bet at least 20 kids in my school right now want an excuse to shoot sombody.

East Coweta High School. I predict that in the next six years there will be a shooting or stabbing. Remember that school name and you will remember what I said.

All jokes aside, who else finds it annoying that today is the sandy hook shooting anniversary? The reason it annoys me is that all these conspiracy theory retards will spam all over the Internet that both shootings are "connected somehow"

Actually, its entirely possible for someone to be influenced by a video game. Remember the Columbine Shooting? (At least I think thats the one) Those teens said the movie The Matrix 'inspired' them to do it. (At least thats what I remember hearing.) If a movie can do that to an already crazy mind, then video games (Actually 'doing' the shooting/violent/'bad' thing) should absolutely be more potent.

The thing that bothers me the most about these shootings is that the killers almost always commit suicide rather than face the law. Sad pathetic cowards.

On that same day and the day before, we had level 1 and level 3 lockdowns. :/

Well maybe the parents shouldn't buy 18+ games for 10 year olds..

What these belligerent imbecilic cowards want is precisely what we're giving to them. Attention. In their world, the overall success of a shooting is defined not by how many people are shot, how the ordeal ended, or whether or not the perpetrator actually got away with it, but by how much attention is given to them by the media and how much people remember it. You may be asking yourself how this could be a plausible explanation considering that since most of the maniacs that commit these crimes end up taking their own lives as well, they wouldn't be there to witness their "success." So how could it possibly be of any concern to them? The answer to this goes back to what I said about the media. The mentally ill people who commit these crimes see what other people did on the news. To them it's like their work is being praised, so if they already a motive, what they see on the news becomes their incentive. I understand this is a bit farfetched, but it's just the way I see it. Furthermore, I believe it's worth noting that there was a significant increase of school shootings after the Sandy Hooks incident. At least the documented ones.

I live in Colorado. And I heard about it. I'm glad to go to a school where crap like this isn't happening,
AgurettiLeaf (2013-12-17 12:19:52)
Yet my parents still panic. We live far in Colorado from where these events take place.

Movies inspire people to kill as well, a woman shot her landlady and claimed it wouldn't matter because she was in the Matrix.

Holy Crap. Somebody call Neo.
