Ok, Football season started, and everyone is making a huge deal about it, like if it was more important than September 11th.

Anyway, where did the American football got it's name? Do you even use your foot on the ball?

I've seen a ton of games, and it's mostly see the players tackling each other and have the ball. Sure, I've seen them kicking the ball, but that's not really using the ball with the foot.

Unlike Soccer, it's an actual sport where you use your foot on the ball.

You use your foot ALL THE TIME, except the goalies. And the other ''football'' uses their hands.

I just think the American football should be renamed to ''Tackle Run'' or ''Egg Toss'' which is another common thing I see in the games.

Well, what do you guys think?

Football does consists of kicking the ball to make goals. Because in "American" football, they're allowed to use their hands, They happen to use that menthod more. If you haven't noticed, an 'American' football isn't exactly the right shape for rolling across the ground.

Nonetheless, I think football (Sports, in general) is stupid and overrated. It's become an idol to people---So yes, it is more important than 9/11. Although I have my own negative thoughts on 9/11 too, it's stupid to get so involved in sports. I. Hate. It.

SOCCER IS A SPORT?! AHA GTFO. Football is the only real sport. Making that crucial catch from 50 yards out while keeping your feet in. Enduring countless tackles while still having to hold onto the ball. Too much to explain.
