Half of the announced PS4 games are on PS3. Do they want us to buy it or not?

I don't know about you, but when the PS4 launches I'll be playing the next Arkham game and maybe AC IV and Watchdogs on my PS3.

Only game PS4 has that makes me want it is inFamous 2nd son, but I haven't even beat inFamous and haven't even started inFamous 2, so I could care less.

And the next Xbox sounds stupid. Seems like Microsoft cares more about Hulu integration than actual games.

Maybe in two years "next gen" will actually sound appealing.

Sony only focused on the online service, which all of those features can be obtained with a system update on the PS3. The games are ports, leaving with 1 or 2 original games. And they did not mentioned any features the system will do. DualShock 4 is no difference than any other DualShock. And a 4K TV is expensive. Only rich people can afford it.

Then rumors about the Durango. They would realese 2 versions: 3D compatibility, and normal.
The 3D version can play games without using a 3D TV, but the price would very expensive. The normal will also feature 3D, but a 3D TV is required.

Then comes the Ouya, a console powered by Android, and will attempt to bring PC gaming to the couch. It is rumered to realese an Ouya console EVERY FREAKING YEAR.

Yes, the ''next gen'' will be even worse.

Another thing I need to point out- each console should have a real selling-point. A feature that makes it stand out from other consoles.

The Wii had motion gaming.
The PS3 had installed Blu-ray and HD graphics
The 360 had installed DVD player and HD graphics

But the PS4? Nothing. Sure, it has Blu-ray. But since then, the price of Blu-ray players have dramatically decreased, so it wouldn't even matter. Graphics are just slightly updating. And that's it.

Sony also went too far with the online features, and while the touchpad is decent, it isn't a selling-point.

Too be honest the PS4 controller looks pretty nice.

And keep in mind this gen was similar, most of the early Xbox360 games were upscaled Xbox ports.

But then again, Watchdogs PS4 isn't even upscaled, the developers said it will be the same experience on all systems.

As for cost, I'm guessing $400-$450. No way is Sony pulling another $600 PS3, they got burned very badly by that.

I think I'll get it in two years, usually it takes two years to get the ball rolling. It took the PS3 two years to get going, and the 3DS about two years. (Compare all the good 3DS games early 2013 to early 2012, way more in 2013)

Vita's been out a year and is finally gaining some traction, in another year it should be pretty good.

Wii is really the only system this gen that shot out the gate. (Unfortunately it burned out pretty quickly)

Besides, Sony did not show the console itself during their presentation. I guess it would be a dinosaur. Bigger than the PS3.

@Nintendude-No way it will be that much. You could get a good PC with that money.

Seeing as the power leap isn't as much as PS2 to PS3, I think we'll only be looking at $400-$450.

how the hell does that confirm its not upscaled. Its obviously upscaled or what would even be the point of porting it if it were not upscaled graphically. In terms of gameplay its going to be the same across all platforms
