The WindwakerHd is supposed to hold us till ZeldaWiiU which will probably release close to Nintendo's next console announcement. Majoras Mask 3d has not been confirmed. And as of now zelda is one of Nintendo's most innovative franchises.

If they didn't care about their customers they wouldn't have published Bayonnetta2,would'nt have brought the FireEmblem series out of japan after curious fans begging,wouldn't have brought Pikmin3 to the WiiU after years of begging,would'nt have revived the KidIcarus series after years of fans begging. You're not getting my point. Nintendo has done things that could risk serious losses of money for their fans. Nintendo didn't know that the fire emblem series would do great outside of japan but Nintendo took that risk and released it for the curious fans anyway.

OK then. Time to get serious.

The only reason Nintendo is making a Wind Waker remake is so Zelda fans can play something while waiting for the official game, which is coming out in a long while.

Plus, since the GameCube and any form of the Wind Waker isn't being sold anymore, there technically is no way for newcomers of this franchise to play this great game. That's why there remaking it.

Plus, you're arugment is invalid. Lots of game series' have a lot of remakes. The Legend of Zelda only has practically TWO.
